The air was cold.

He could see his breathe as small forms of smoke, briefly forming and fading away back into the night's sky just as quickly. Eyes looked up to the starry sky with a longing gaze. Somedays he wished that he could fade away, today seemed to be one of those days. Asriel had returned from overseas as of recent, and he was happy to be back for more then one reason.

Rocket was quick to assign him a task when he did return: to infiltrate the league and pose as a ranger, gathering any useful information and to report it back. He was not fond of it, but Asriel was never the person to say his opinion of disobey orders.

A troublesome pack of mightyena have been rampaging oldale as of recently. He was sent to try and neutralize the pack to the best of his capability. Asriel however saw it as a chance to traffic some of them as well, rocket would always find pokemon useful in their own unique ways.

He waited atop of a small hill, which had been reported to be a frequent patrol spot of the pack. Now all he needed to do was wait for them to arrive.

Take care of some unruly pokemon. It was a simple job that he's done hundreds of times before since becoming a Ranger and has no doubt he'd be doing hundreds of times after. Though as he arrives on the scene familiar white hair strikes him and it causes him pauses. At first he thinks it's just someone else with white hair. Surely because why else would the other be here. But as Razz approaches the other Ranger on these scene its clear he isn't mistaken even with only one good eye. [break][break]

It was his brother, and for awhile he is silent unsure of what to do. Though Salem gives him a bit of a nudge as if assuring him it would be okay. And even uses psychic to lift his hand as a reminder. He wasn't the weak twin anymore. [break][break]

Approching from behind Razz is careful to keep some distance between them. And while there are a million thoughts and feelings at seeing his brother for the first time in 4 years he says the following. [break][break]

The full moon illuminates the midnight sky. Stars fill the sky also providing light but it could never be compared to the moon’s. Such a night brings back memories of many years ago, where it was just him and Raz training on the stranded island. Those nights were also like this, and Asriel finds himself longing to return to those days.

Thoughts become scattered with a sudden voice. One that he didn’t think he would hear again. Asriel pauses not turning around just yet to face his twin. A smile slips onto his face but it quickly fades by the time the two come face to face and it’s replaced with an emotionless glare.

“Seems like you finally grew.” His remark sounds more challenging than intended. Eyes glance upwards to see that Raz had grown a few good inches on him. Seeing his only eye caused Asriel to look remorseful but it was only for a brief moment one that could easily go missed.

“Not near enough however.”

Razz just gives a small scoff at the other at the challenging tone he seemed to have. Old memories of their parents always finding ways to pit the two against each other to let competitive nature kick in to try and one up the other. But now any problems they had with each other now were all on him. Though admittedly there is a part of him that blames Asriel.[break][break]

"What are you doing here Asriel?" Razz decides to question harshly because while part of him is happy to see his brother after so long. He also knows what side the other has chosen in the end. It's Salem's poking at his leg and seems to say something that gives some sense back to him. "Or are you the so called 'Max Sharpe' I was suppose to meet?" [break][break]

he really hopes that's not the case.

Ignoring the question Asriel chuckles and chuckles as his response. Eyebrows raising slightly when Raizel mentions his alias.
"Maybe" The tone of his voice doesn't give anything away and once again Asriel chuckles, this time a little more sinister as he was amused.

"What about you Raizel. What are you doing out here?" The question comes off very demanding, similar to the tone their parents would use at them when they younger and were together. His red gaze is piercing and cold, another similarity with his parents.

There is a part of him that faulters at the commanding tone, and the harsh glare. It was so much like mother's and every instinct he's grown with told him he should answer. Not only that as kids he was always much more open with Azriel. Its why there was a pause with answering but he reminds himself that it was that honestly with his twin that was the trigger that put him into his situation. [break][break]

And if they were just a few years younger Razz might have just opened up without question but now he counters, "First off it's Razz Kingsman, and secondly-" and those days were long gone. [break][break]

The younger twin shows off his Ranger band, "I'm the Ranger in charge of this mission, so stand down Sharpe," and while there was some sense of confidence behind his new identity, even if there was a burn on his tongue at the fake name. The next part comes out a tad more shakier as Raziel was never the strong one between them. [break][break]
